Do you ever think about having issues that need to heal or wanting a shift in the story you're living at the moment? We have a cultural or national joke about having issues or bringing your baggage from one relationship to the next, or from one situation to the next.
And the idea seems to be that we're stuck with it all! So we hope we don't pass on our bad traits to our children and we're sometimes careful around others, thinking we might contaminate them with the things we don't like about ourselves.
But is healing as impossible as we've been trained to think it is? What if the emotional legacies we carry with us from any number of sources are temporary constructs urging us to pursue healing? What if we could be free of their influence?
How much easier, then, would it be to create the warm, cozy hygge lifestyle we long for, but aren't sure is possible?
Confession: I chose that question because it has been with me for decades. All through grad school (I was young & naive in college), all through my career as a therapist, and for many of my years as a healer! I didn't tell anyone I suspected there was a ceiling, or a limit, on how much you could heal, or how far you could go. But I had had such a hard go of it, myself, I thought there must be. But I have come to believe that there is no real ceiling unless we become convinced that there is or we impose one on ourselves. ~ Jeanine
How Aware Are You of What is Seeking You?
There's a life that's waiting for you. It has been calling you, incessantly, all of your life.
If you ever feel like there's an energy inside of you, making you feel like there is so much more you need to do, that call is the reason why.
And though we chase happiness for so many reasons, true happiness (and peace of mind) is not easily measured by how many accomplishments you have. Or by a time in your life when every circumstance of your life is one that pleases you.
True happiness is better measured by how close you are to being the person you came here to be, the degree to which you are doing the thing you incarnated to do, and how near you are to the center of the life that's waiting for you. I believe that you get glimpses of each of that you, and that purpose and that life.
I suspect that the dreams we have are part of the call. Not because you want it, but because making them come true moves you closer to your purpose.
Stop for a moment and think about your own life. How close are you to being the person you came here to be? Are you smack dab in the middle of your purpose, or do you feel a little left of center? What would moving closer feel like?
Welcome! I'm so glad you have come for a visit. I hope you find exactly what you are looking for here. In fact, I hope you'll be comfy & cozy as you take a look around.
